When Love And Beauty Rule The Day

When Love And Beauty Rule The Day
Love and Beauty are the Essence of Goodness, the primal elements of The Most Holy
The Divine Essence of Love exists with-in all Life; knowledge of this depth of Love is what each Prophet has been Called to bring to Humanity, and what every Soul hopes to attain. And no matter what the path, Divine Love is what each Soul knows to be Absolute Truth, the rock bottom foundation upon which all of life rests. It is through Humanity’s seeking and finding Love, that we come to ‘Know’ — that The Most High exists with-in all form.
Here is an example of Harmonizing with Divine Love — What if you were to imagine being able to look into a mirror, and see ugliness reflected back to you. One could say that ugliness exists in the world, at that moment, for you. Yet, perhaps a good friend is standing next to you, looking into the same mirror. They may be seeing your Beauty reflected there, from a Heart filled with Love for you, and no ugliness at all! In this way we may understand that seeing ugliness reflecting back to us would lead us to have an unhappy day, while our friend’s view is likely to lead them to have a day and their world filled with Beauty. This is true whenever we look into the Holy Mirror of the World.
With this knowledge, if we see ugliness or hatred reflected back to us, a question may arise, “Where is my negative view coming from— and what harvest is to be reaped from this view?”
As Humanity begins to awaken, and Remembers the part we each are to play in the daily creation of the world — if Love and Beauty are to become our harvest, our individual, and collective Soul-task is to keep the ‘World Mirror’ filled with Beauty and Love. When this realization becomes our Guide, Beauty and Love will come to be reflected more and more in the Sacred Mirror of the World— and when Love and Beauty rule the day, the Holy Garden that springs forth will be our harvest.
Then how shall we begin our task? Our search for Divine Love and Beauty might begin with an effort made each day to Remember, the Sacred, and ever-so-malleable, Holy Mirror:
Anticipating awakening
in a flash we find —
the world shimmering with Beauty!
as if the sun were poking through dark clouds.
Once again we understand
that Nature’s Garden lies in waiting,
to become fully alive—
in the here and now—
through you and I.

🌈🌈 Remembering Grandfather Black Elk: Holy Man of the Oglala Sioux,
d. August 19, 1950
“There can never be peace between nations, until there is first known, that true peace that is within the Souls of people.”
** “I cured with the power that came through me. Of course, it was not I who cured, it was the power from the Outer World, the visions and the ceremonies had only made me like a hole through which the power could come to the two-leggeds. And when I breathed, my breath was lightning.
“Whenever I cured, if I thought that I was doing it myself, the hole would close up and no power could come through. Then everything I would try to do would be foolish.”
Earth Prayer, Black Elk
Grandfather, Great Spirit, once more behold me on earth and lean to hear my feeble voice. You lived first, and you are older than all need, older than all prayer. All things belong to you — the two-legged, the four-legged, the wings of the air, and all green things that live.
You have set the powers of the four quarters of the earth to cross each other. You have made me cross the good road and road of difficulties, and where they cross, the place is holy. Day in, day out, forevermore, you are the life of things.
Hey! Lean to hear my feeble voice.
At the center of the sacred hoop
You have said that I should make the tree to bloom.
With tears running, O Great Spirit, my Grandfather,
With running eyes I must say
The tree has never bloomed.
Here I stand, and the tree is withered.
Again, I recall the great vision you gave me.
It may be that some little root of the sacred tree still lives.
Nourish it then
That it may leaf
And bloom
And fill with singing birds!
Hear me, that the people may once again
Find the good road
And the shielding tree.
— Grandfather Black Elk

photo: Black Elk returns to pray on Harney Peak, 1931, the site of his “Great Vision,” when he was nine years old. In his Great Vision he saw “the Thunder Beings” and was taken to the Grandfathers, who represented the Six Sacred Directions — West, East, North, South, Above, and Below. The Grandfathers took Black Elk to the Center of the Earth, the central mountain of the world, the axis of the Six Sacred Directions, the point where stillness and movement are together.” Harney Peak, where Black Elk is seen in this photo, is called Hinhan Kaga by the Lakota Sioux, it is the highest natural point in South Dakota, and the Black Hills.
