The Parable of the Weeds

The Parable of the Weeds *

When the Divine Call comes knocking on the Inner Door of our Heart, if we follow this Call, it can lead us to a Path of Great Silence, Sacred Wisdom and Peace.

During the sixties and early seventies there arose hundreds of Spiritual Communes filled with an ever-growing number of baby boomers. These commune-ities, in cities, mountains and valleys, were advertised as being dedicated to the pursuit of the part of our Innate capacity that lives with-in the Human Heart: the part of us that longs to become One with our Highest Self.

Thousands of youth received this Inner Call all at once, and joined one of the ancient Caravans, taking them far from their homes, to enter these budding Commune-ities during this massive and vast, “Opening of the Ways.”

The Call to leave one’s family traditions sometimes came through a personal Vision of a Master, or one of the Master’s teachers. Sometime it came through one’s friends. In all cases it became an insatiable longing, so deeply thrusting itself into one’s Being, that it could not be pushed aside. All of the usual plans of youth were left in the dust, as by herds, baby-booming youth marched off their family trails—to go they knew not where. Gathering together, they streamed into the ancient or newly emerging folds, and were unable to be tempted back, by any offerings of glitter and gold from their parents’ world.

In this same Way, the Call to enter into Great Solitude, in order to merge oneself with the Wisdom of the Source of All, has continued to arrive throughout all Epochs. It is this direct Guidance from the Unseen, that eternally has led humanity to Walk upon path-ways of Divine Love, Honor and Truth. For example, looking back as far as the Epoch of the Goddess, we are told that those who answered the Call, entered Her temples as a priestess-in-training. They also needed to leave their homes and families, as their Call led them to study the Sacred Wisdom, in solitude for the rest of their lives. Later, in the days of Buddha, Abraham and Sarai, Hagar and Ishmael, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed, the pilgrims who were Called to Serve the Most High also left their homes and worldly in order to attain the Wisdom and Divine Union offered in their days, within isolated commune-ities.

Yet, seekers living in earlier times were in some ways luckier than those of our modern era. For in today’s world, Spiritual students are required to perform an almost impossible balancing act: While answering Wisdom’s Call, they must also remain with-in today’s work world, trying to evolve Spiritually, while at the same time, carrying on the daily grind in the dog-eat-dog world of deception, competition, and thievery. In this terribly difficult Way, they tap dance through their lives—making a living while striving to hold the Holy Lamp of Love-Light aloft, for their Inner growth, and the Inner and outward benefit of the world. Buddhism and Yoga, Tai Chi and Chi Gong, Kabbalah and the Goddess Paths, Hinduism, Native Paths, and Mystical Christianity are among today’s Spiritual Callings.

Yet even greater challenges await today’s Seekers than having to live in both worlds simultaneously: For while these and other Spiritual Paths claim to still carry the Living Wisdom teachings, and while today’s teachers purport they can—and will—guide the students to attain Union with the All-in-All, a few words of caution must be offered here: Almost all of today’s Spiritual Ways, though their founders were absolutely Pure, have degenerated into unholy ways that are not only impure—but are being deliberately bent—toward Spiritual harm and usury—of the Pure and innocent seekers—who come to answer the Divine Call—only wanting to Serve the Bountiful One—the Source of Beauty, Love and Truth.

While this deception can completely knock the aspirants off their Path, this is far from the end of their story: For as we all Well know, whatever is pushed down rises again, “And the meek shall inherit the world.” (This world…. or the next.)

* Parable of the Weeds:

24 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ ”

What Are We Really Doing Here

What Are We Really Doing Here

What are we doing here, really?

Have we come here to make money?

Have we come to make families

who make money, and war,

and despoil the Earth

with the ways and things that the power of

money creates?

Have we come to follow religious leaders,

who vilify and demand that we harm

or we kill,

those who do not believe, or pray

as we do?

A collective response arises from our hearts:

“No! We know this is not why we have come!

We have come for a higher purpose,

been sent by Divine decree

to bring Love and not hate,

joy and not harm,

and to glorify Creation—

that is why we have come!”

Yet when religious leaders claim

the Most High exists only within

our church, our mosque, or temple walls—

our religious paths have become deformed,

are no longer able to honestly Serve

the All-in-All.

For the Most High cannot be confined

by man-made walls, or ideologies,

but lives with-in all people

all nations, all cultures

and Calls us to Love one another,

twenty-four hours a day,

from the Eternal Temple

in the C
enter, of every heart.

Unerringly Guided Toward Perfection

Unerringly Guided Toward Perfection

The whole of humanity is unerringly guided toward perfection. This guidance happens nonstop, and one can say that our individual movements, and collective growth, neither end nor begin during any era, or lifetime:

Throughout all time, and all that occurs,

even in those things that we know arise

from humanity’s twisting of the threads

of Wisdom,

we find that our errors are eventually guided

and brought to right,

as surely as a seed grows

in an ever-upward direction

unfurling its tiny spirit around

the rocks and roots it encounters,

on its way toward the Light.

So, too, the Divine Virtues

immaculately implanted in our hearts,

continue to advance our spirit,

leading and guiding our way

toward the One.

In this time-honored process,

throughout the epochs,

the All-in-All continues to move humanity

unto our fullness and perfection—

here on Earth,

and within the Holy Realms.

Peace Will Come When We Embody Peace

Peace Will Come When We Embody Peace

The Holy Saints and Messengers are the very embodiment of Peace on Earth.

Everyone can feel the Blessings and Grace emanating from the Great Ones, even by just looking at their pictures. No matter what Path we are following, all of Humanity can know, without a doubt, that these Holy Ones carry within them, the Source of All.

And we also can know this for sure: They have attained the fulfillment of their Highest DesiresTo Serve Humanity as an image—of Divine Love and Peace :

It is often a cause of wonderment
on Pathways of Bodhisattvas and Saints,

when disciples realize that the Love
they seek to bring forth

for the benefit of all,

must first be Realized
in their own hearts.

For to bring Peace, to bring
Blessings of Divine Love

one must embody the qualities
of the Beloveds—

in whose footsteps
they long to follow.

High-Ways of Love and Light and Life

High-Ways of Love and Light and Life
The longing and the emptiness Humanity feels deep inside,
the hunger we try to fill up with

all of the ‘things’ in our lives,
can never fully be sated
until we have joined our Hearts and our Spirits,

with the Source of Love, from whence we have come.
And this Holy Communion is possible
while we yet walk this Earth —

for the great Ones established the Inner High-Ways,
of Holy Love-Light and Life

allowing us to See where we will someday reside
as welcome guests
with-in the Holy Realms.

This is our Soul’s journey—
whether we know it or not.

Love—The Great Work

Love —The Great Work

There are two choices in life: Working hard to become our highest
Ideal — or staying stuck in the mud.

In the lives of the Saints and the Prophets, we have seen examples of
great struggles, enormous struggles, which have led to the Greatest
Love being manifested on the Earth. What we often do not recognize,
is that we are all involved in the same struggles as these Beloved
Ones, and according to our individual efforts, and our faith, we each
have the same opportunities, to turn the lemons of life into
lemonade. Look at the lives of Helen Keller, or Anne Frank. It is the
overcoming, the rising to meet their challenges, that continues to
Serve us all. Through their enormous life challenges and effort, they
continue to bring Love-Light to the world.

Like this we can see that there are millions of Souls, who daily
Serve as Light-Bearers with-in their communities. While they may
remain unknown to the whole of Humanity, these Beloveds are well
known by the Innermost One. And, the more difficult their life
challenges, the greater their Gifts of Blessing Serve themselves, and
Humanity.

For it is in the ‘Doing’, in the process of working upon oneself,
that the whole world receives benefit. In this way we can understand,
that the greater the personal challenges each Soul has undertaken,
the greater effort must be made in order to overcome the darkness.
And the greater the effort, the greater the ability to manifest the
Beloved’s Love-Light upon Earth.

Though one-s individual effort may not change the entire whole world,
if one strives to Remember throughout each day, that each life, each
Soul, each effort toward Love and Peace, has it’s part to play in the
creation of the whole Reality–one will not become tired of the
Great Work–to bring Beauty and Joy into Life.

Until the Circle Is Whole

Until the Circle Is Whole

Humanity stands between the Divine and the manifest, and through the Human Spiritual Capacity, all planes of existence may be realized.

The destination of each Soul is to realize, while in individuated Human form, its Union with the Divine. This includes the complete awareness, and actual- ization, of our human Spiritual Capacity. Ancient civilizations did not have detailed knowledge of the physical realm. Instead of Scientific knowledge, it’s gift to us was the opening of humanities awareness of the Spiritual Realm. And although those living during this earliest epoch were poor in physical comforts, they experienced the richness of the Spiritual, Inner Realms.

For example, in ancient times both the human body and the body of the Earth were considered to be holy, were seen as living expressions of the Most High. In contrast in our modern epoch, without a conscious awareness of, or belief in, our ever-present Union with the Most Supreme, our physical bodies and the body of the Earth are easily abused, and thoughtlessly desecrated.

Today humanity is arriving at the birthing time of a new epoch and many Souls are beginning to open the door of their heart, just as a waking flower arises from its deep, winter slumber. And, as the first rays of the morning sun touch our Inner Being, a silent but pervasive Presence emerges on the horizon of our awareness—Calling us to Awaken! Urging us to respond:

From a place of softening and opening our Hearts, we come

to realize,

that there has been an over-arching theme

guiding humanity’s long, collective growth:

Each Soul is an integral part

of the whole Living Being—

and each, in their own Way, advances

toward the Supreme Glory,

grows into their fullness

of Love and Light and Divinity,

as the Circle waxes whole.

Realizing Our Oneness

Realizing Our Oneness

The yearning, and the goal of life, is to be completely whole…and to do this we must realize our oneness with the Omnipresent Divinity.

It happens—

while one is completely at ease and forgets themselves,

amidst a quiet ocean sunrise;

It occurs—

while one is lost inside the silence

of softly falling snow.

At these out-of-time moments

it often happens—

that all at once, the everyday world intrudes—

comes lapping on the shores of our heart,

and causes us to sigh:

“O Beloved! Why such confusion?

O Divine One! Why all the greed and war?

When this blessed Joy is available to all Lovers,

exists in every heart,

and the smallest opening into Love

can usher us to a place of peace on Earth?”

A quiet voice gently implores:

“O Beloved, please don’t wander!

Dearest One, stay awhile longer

in the Garden of Beauty.

O, please, Dear Heart stay—

if you can…

Enjoy this Sacred Gift!”

Serving One’s Perfect Gift

SERVING ONE’S PERFECT GIFT

If there were the need for only one stream, there would have been created only Adam.

If only one Messenger was needed the myriad deities, Saints, Prophets and Messengers, would never have come forth. In the same way we can see that no matter how brief or how long ones life is in the physical body, each and every life is needed, for as long as it is here. For each one is Serving their perfect Gift, fulfilling a unique role for the whole, Living Being—

The breath,

the tears

the smiles—

the sighs

and the sorrows,

every life has its part to play

with-in the manifest

and un-manifest Being.

And each movement,

and each thought contributes

to the Grand Way

of the Tao . . .

That which is light becomes

drawn,

sooner or later,

into the Great Ocean of Light.

That which is dark becomes

drawn,

sooner or later,

into the Great Ocean of Darkness.

And together these living waters

endlessly flow—

creating,

through Eternity,

the Alpha

and the Omega.
