Our Trials

Our Trials

The Beloved Warriors of the Most High must become adept swimmers in the whole of the ocean. Their tests are great; their lives and journeys an open book. All wit- ness their purification, and their trials by fire.

We are shown the tremendous difficulties the Masters, Saints and Prophets of each Sacred path have had to endure, as they were becoming great leaders of their people. We are then shown their life purpose, and their experiences with the Most High. Mostly we tend to forget their enormous difficulties and trials, or to minimize them, as we become blinded by their Light. Yet, their rites of passage are not a footnote to their success, but an integral part of what made these Lovers of Truth change from the ordinary people they were, into the Divine Beings they became—

Siddhartha, the Buddha, went into the world
and experienced the suffering of the common people,
as he wandered for a time alone.

Abraham was tried by fire—tested
with the willing sacrifice of his son, Isaac

Sarah, whose name was first Yiscah, Seer, and then Sarai, One
Who Commands, was Priestess to the Goddess,
yet according to her destiny she became a wife to Abraham,
as the world she knew disappeared.

Moses struggled with who and what he was:
leaving his high rank as Pharaoh’s son,
he experienced the lowest place in his world.

Jesus had to sacrifice his own life for his Calling.

The Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hanh, Mother Teresa,
and many other Saints and Prophets,
yielded their place of comfort,
became stripped to their foundations,
before attaining their zeniths.

For the darkness exists and the Light exists,
and all must pass through trials of darkness
on their way to the Light.

And though they be great or small, our difficulties
become the foundation upon which all must climb,
in order to attain Union, with the Most Supreme.

Passion and the Inner Flame

Passion and the Inner Flame

There is passion. Passion raises the Inner Flame.

The Inner Flame is raised into Being at a moment’s notice: It raises and flourishes through our desires, be they physical, intellectual, or Spiritual. And what is the Source of the Holy Flame? It springs from the Divine Essence of Life, and illuminates the whole Universe, and all of our lives.

As the Divine One is infinite Mercy and Compassion, so the Flame is placed within in our hearts and hands, and can be turned toward the positive or the negative. For example, it is this Flame that rushes forth and rises to fuel our anger, and when it is so turned, our passion flares, and we move with unkind words and actions. And it is the same Flame that can be turned to fuel our pursuit of knowledge, and when it is so turned, we become melted and merged, lost with-in our quest for Truth. The Inner Flame also rises when we are in the midst of Beauty, warming our hearts with joy.

Yet as we look Sincerely within, we know with no doubt, that the most beneficent use of the Inner Flame, is when we, seeking Union, open ourselves to Its Presence, and quietly follow, as it rises and raises our whole Being, into the warmest, Light-filled glow, of the Bliss of Love. Then, only then, do we feel complete. Only then can we understand the True purpose of our time on Earth.

The Hunger That Cannot Be Pushed Aside

The Hunger That Cannot Be Pushed Aside

There is a deep, Inner longing constantly dancing with-in each Soul. This longing urges each one to rise, ever upwards, beyond their current abilities. It exists as an under-current, operating ceaselessly in all that we do. This longing has been called, “the hunger that cannot be pushed aside, the thirst which cannot be quenched.”

It is this longing which causes each one to stretch to attain their utmost possibilities, glimmering and shimmering in the mists, upon the horizon of one’s life. It causes one to seek to become the greatest of musicians, and another to seek to become the best farmer, or the best parent they can be. Yet where do these longings come from?

The desire for each one to reach their zenith comes directly from the Inner One, the All-in-All, the Loving One. This is the Voice of the All Knowing, who Guides all Souls to create the dance of their life time—with-in Beauty and Love. This Inner Essence of Life is identical to the Desire residing with-in each seed: Planted deeply in the ground, the Spark of Life awakens and leads each seed to cast off it’s shell—and struggle ever upward, around or through all obstacles it encounters. And, though it has never seen the Light, yet each seed is drawn ever upwards, for no other purpose than it may one day emerge from darkness—and become its absolute, Beauty-filled fullness.

Seen underneath this Wisdom-Light, one may understand, that the whole of humanity, and the whole of the universe, is moving and breathing together, upon the Great Ocean of Life—rising and falling with-in the unseen currents; Ever striving to satisfy, and to bring to life, the highest desires of the Eternal One.

The Soul’s Long  Journey Of Desire

The Soul’s Long Journey Of Desire

What is the ending of the Soul’s long Journey of Desire? Holy Communion with The Most High!

Traveling with all concentration and speed, each Soul reaps the rewards and the fruits that await it:

Amidst a kaleidoscope of tastes, colors, and worldly glitter, developing Souls encounter many forms of passionate desires. Some of these lead to experiences of great Beauty, and yet others lead toward disillusionment and evil. At the end of all such ego-filled PathWays, in the midst of a bitter harvest, finally and thoroughly each comes to know—that their choices have led them to a dark end.

Yet, after all Path-Ways

for a Soul’s growth

have been desired, their fruits tasted,

nothing remains except

a deep Inner longing–

To Become—

Only Love.

==============

A Prayer

May all who are hungry find food.

All who are without shelter find shelter  (on all levels)

All who are suffering find Solace  (may someone come to help them)

All who are without Love, Be Loved.

amen and amen

The Grand Mandala Lives

The Grand Mandala Lives

In the Inner-most Sanctum of the Universe, the The Grand Mandala Lives.

It has been said that those who align with their holy path during their lifetime are blessed. Each of these sacred religious and spiritual ways have been likened to one of the many luminous, light-filled rays, that surround and create the Divine Universal Mandala of Holy Light, emanating from the Eternal One.

The energetic rhythms of millions of Souls rejoice as they journey amongst their chosen Ray. And, through their Songs of Life, each Soul carries and maintains a portion of the Wisdom and Truth, that has been Divinely placed, within that particular Holy Stream.

These Divine Rays of Love-Light are established through the Great Work of the Messengers of the Most High. Each of the Messengers, Prophets and Saints, throughout the eras, are sent not only to create, but to maintain these living streams, filling them with the currents of Compassion and Love that will permeate, and weave the seen and unseen Realms, and allow the manifestation all things.

And the Grand and Eternal Wheel of Life, in the center of the Highest Realm, has mysteriously, and All-Ways brought into being — the never beginning, never ending, Glory-Full Reality of the Universe.

The Path of Great Sorrow

The Path of Great Sorrow

This is a path of those who have been deliberately or unjustly condemned. It is the path of those who are victims of oppression, of scapegoating, and find they have no way to go forward, other than to endure, and to hope—that their times will change.

And, yet on this Path of Great Patience, through endurance and faith one may finally bloom in a way that would have been impossible, were ones days and nights Light-filled: For flowers do not bloom before the frost has ‘set’ the stage for Spring, and Hearts do not fully open with-out first tasting the salty tears of great pain. It is for this reason that the greatest gifts humanity has ever received, through music, poetry, saints, and other wondrous things, have most frequently come through those, who have been somehow enabled by Grace, to first bear, and then to survive—the longest, coldest, and darkest of winters.

Enlightenment, Living In A Bubble ?

Enlightenment, Living In A Bubble?

There is a clear lake. It is absolutely clear, with no touch of a ripple. The air is be-calmed. The sky, pure blue. Yet, all know that underneath the surface of the lake, a whole world lies in constant motion. And one is also aware that the outer world is filled with not a single space of stillness. According to the placement in time and in space, the karmic, inner and the outer flows of movement surrounding the clear lake will soon change it’s surface from the gentle stillness into small or great waves. Rain and wind, snow and hail, pollution and purity — all will come and will go.

The question arises: “Is it not possible to capture, to hold onto moments of perfect, peace-full stillness? To somehow move forward through our lives with them: to live within them, walking within them, into each ‘next’ moment—no matter how hard the storms rage?”

Here lies the view of the immature Zenist: To walk with-in a space and time of Nirvana, in a state of perfect peace, smiling and contented, as if in an insulated, protective bubble of purity, moving through all time. In this most incomplete picture, there are of course still the two, and ofttimes there are the many: the one who is living in a ‘bubble’ of peacefulness, walking or aiming to walk immersed in Nirvana, and the rest of the Whole Being, who remain as sleep-walkers in a shadow-filled reality.

What about the ONE breath, and Harmony for the All? Thus the followers of Quan Yin’s Oath of Dedication to remain on Earth—purifying the whole Being with their Love-filled breaths, until the last being attains enlightenment, instead of attaining their personal enlightenment and abandoning the ship. And thus the ancient Teaching becomes perfectly clear:
“I am  a bubble, make me the sea.”*

The Parable of the Weeds

The Parable of the Weeds *

When the Divine Call comes knocking on the Inner Door of our Heart, if we follow this Call, it can lead us to a Path of Great Silence, Sacred Wisdom and Peace.

During the sixties and early seventies there arose hundreds of Spiritual Communes filled with an ever-growing number of baby boomers. These commune-ities, in cities, mountains and valleys, were advertised as being dedicated to the pursuit of the part of our Innate capacity that lives with-in the Human Heart: the part of us that longs to become One with our Highest Self.

Thousands of youth received this Inner Call all at once, and joined one of the ancient Caravans, taking them far from their homes, to enter these budding Commune-ities during this massive and vast, “Opening of the Ways.”

The Call to leave one’s family traditions sometimes came through a personal Vision of a Master, or one of the Master’s teachers. Sometime it came through one’s friends. In all cases it became an insatiable longing, so deeply thrusting itself into one’s Being, that it could not be pushed aside. All of the usual plans of youth were left in the dust, as by herds, baby-booming youth marched off their family trails—to go they knew not where. Gathering together, they streamed into the ancient or newly emerging folds, and were unable to be tempted back, by any offerings of glitter and gold from their parents’ world.

In this same Way, the Call to enter into Great Solitude, in order to merge oneself with the Wisdom of the Source of All, has continued to arrive throughout all Epochs. It is this direct Guidance from the Unseen, that eternally has led humanity to Walk upon path-ways of Divine Love, Honor and Truth. For example, looking back as far as the Epoch of the Goddess, we are told that those who answered the Call, entered Her temples as a priestess-in-training. They also needed to leave their homes and families, as their Call led them to study the Sacred Wisdom, in solitude for the rest of their lives. Later, in the days of Buddha, Abraham and Sarai, Hagar and Ishmael, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed, the pilgrims who were Called to Serve the Most High also left their homes and worldly in order to attain the Wisdom and Divine Union offered in their days, within isolated commune-ities.

Yet, seekers living in earlier times were in some ways luckier than those of our modern era. For in today’s world, Spiritual students are required to perform an almost impossible balancing act: While answering Wisdom’s Call, they must also remain with-in today’s work world, trying to evolve Spiritually, while at the same time, carrying on the daily grind in the dog-eat-dog world of deception, competition, and thievery. In this terribly difficult Way, they tap dance through their lives—making a living while striving to hold the Holy Lamp of Love-Light aloft, for their Inner growth, and the Inner and outward benefit of the world. Buddhism and Yoga, Tai Chi and Chi Gong, Kabbalah and the Goddess Paths, Hinduism, Native Paths, and Mystical Christianity are among today’s Spiritual Callings.

Yet even greater challenges await today’s Seekers than having to live in both worlds simultaneously: For while these and other Spiritual Paths claim to still carry the Living Wisdom teachings, and while today’s teachers purport they can—and will—guide the students to attain Union with the All-in-All, a few words of caution must be offered here: Almost all of today’s Spiritual Ways, though their founders were absolutely Pure, have degenerated into unholy ways that are not only impure—but are being deliberately bent—toward Spiritual harm and usury—of the Pure and innocent seekers—who come to answer the Divine Call—only wanting to Serve the Bountiful One—the Source of Beauty, Love and Truth.

While this deception can completely knock the aspirants off their Path, this is far from the end of their story: For as we all Well know, whatever is pushed down rises again, “And the meek shall inherit the world.” (This world…. or the next.)

* Parable of the Weeds:

24 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ ”

What Are We Really Doing Here

What Are We Really Doing Here

What are we doing here, really?

Have we come here to make money?

Have we come to make families

who make money, and war,

and despoil the Earth

with the ways and things that the power of

money creates?

Have we come to follow religious leaders,

who vilify and demand that we harm

or we kill,

those who do not believe, or pray

as we do?

A collective response arises from our hearts:

“No! We know this is not why we have come!

We have come for a higher purpose,

been sent by Divine decree

to bring Love and not hate,

joy and not harm,

and to glorify Creation—

that is why we have come!”

Yet when religious leaders claim

the Most High exists only within

our church, our mosque, or temple walls—

our religious paths have become deformed,

are no longer able to honestly Serve

the All-in-All.

For the Most High cannot be confined

by man-made walls, or ideologies,

but lives with-in all people

all nations, all cultures

and Calls us to Love one another,

twenty-four hours a day,

from the Eternal Temple

in the C
enter, of every heart.

Unerringly Guided Toward Perfection

Unerringly Guided Toward Perfection

The whole of humanity is unerringly guided toward perfection. This guidance happens nonstop, and one can say that our individual movements, and collective growth, neither end nor begin during any era, or lifetime:

Throughout all time, and all that occurs,

even in those things that we know arise

from humanity’s twisting of the threads

of Wisdom,

we find that our errors are eventually guided

and brought to right,

as surely as a seed grows

in an ever-upward direction

unfurling its tiny spirit around

the rocks and roots it encounters,

on its way toward the Light.

So, too, the Divine Virtues

immaculately implanted in our hearts,

continue to advance our spirit,

leading and guiding our way

toward the One.

In this time-honored process,

throughout the epochs,

the All-in-All continues to move humanity

unto our fullness and perfection—

here on Earth,

and within the Holy Realms.
